Clinical Research

Cardiovascular Consultants of South Florida is dedicated to providing the most innovative and progressive medical care to our patients. Having over twenty years of clinical trial experience from our Principal Investigators, we have conducted pharmaceutical, device, and physician initiated trials. Our investigators contribute to the advancement of medicine, and bring to our patients the most advanced treatments available.

As clinical research trials involve strict attention to detail to follow the protocols established, our group employs trained Research Coordinators with diverse clinical experience. All clinical research is conducted per Federal Drug Administration Good Clinical Practice Guidelines with special attention given to the protection of human research subjects.

We have conducted invasive and non invasive, Phase II, III and IV, inpatient and outpatient clinical trials in antiplatelet therapy, cardiac remodeling, remote pacer and defibrillator monitoring, carotid stenting and renal hypertension. Our site has succeeded at meeting and exceeding enrollment goals in the following areas: hyperlipidemia, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure,and arrhythmia. We are currently conducting clinical trials in the following areas: hyperlipidemia, arrhythmias, hypertension, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, coronary artery stenting, and renal hypertension. We have successful experience with conducting clinical trials using Central and Local Internal Review Boards.
